New Dragon

My first watercolor dragon. I'm pretty excited, I've been motivated to sit down and just put something on a blank page, so 'New Dragon', seemed to fit. It's as if he just opened his eyes for the first time..just taking in the moonset. Its a new universe! He hasn't even figured out if he's on a cloud or on a planet. If you really study him, you'll see he's not complete...but neither am I. This is all just the beginning of the story, a blank page, with so much to fill in. Like the Grover book..."Don't turn that page". If you were into Golden Books as a child, you'll know which book I'm referring to. I loved that one! I made my whole family read it to me over and over again with all the loud colorful dramatics of course...and just a couple months ago, I saw it at the grocery store and had to buy it. It is a new book. I'm making time to draw, I'm making time to paint, I'm making time to study other artist. I want to know why this has been nagging me my whole life, and I intend on turning the page!
